Making Jello

Cody wanted Jello so I verbally gave him instructions on how to do it. He was able to do everything but move the boiling water from the stove to the bowl. He was so proud!

Crystal Mining

Grandma picked this us for Cody, again this was a new experience for him and daddy was home to help out :) Here is a link to purchase.

The tools that came with the kit weren't doing it so we got out the lightweight hammer and screw driver.

Daddy showing Cody how to place the screw driver to use it like a pick axe.

Found one!

Carefully removing the smaller debris :)

Total there were 13 stones in the block and the activity took about 45 mins. We will do it again with our own recipe for the "stone" .

Cool Circuits

We found this at Hobby Lobby for $20 and we really like it. We can do it with Cody or he can do it alone. The puzzles go from easy to hard over 21 puzzles. Here is a link to Amazon to purchase.

When you complete the circuit is plays music and flashes blue :)

Butterfly life cycle observations

We got this neat kit here. The whole life cycle was about 2.5 weeks.

After the butterflies drank from the flowers, about 10 mins, they flew off to other places :)
